Cuítiva es un pueblo de indios, anterior a la conquista, municipio colombiano ubicado en la provincia del sugamuxi en el departamento de Boyacá. Es una de las poblaciones que se a las orillas del lago de Tota maravilla de Boyacá. esta situado a 85 km del oriente de la ciudad de tunja.

cuitiva mantiene un clima frio, se presentan lluvias y con persistencia caen lloviznas y veranos prolongados, con temperatura que va que va desde los 5 °C en las madrugadas hasta los 16 °C del medio dia. se deben soportar vientos húmedos y moderados por la laguna de tota. según el instituto nacional de estudios ambientales, el valor promedio anual del recorrido de los vientos 454.2 km

cuitiva maintains a cold climate, there are showers and with persistence drizzle and prolonged summers, with a temperature ranging from 5°c at dawn to 16°c at noon. humid and moderate winds must be suppoted by the tota lagoon. according to the national institute of environmental studies, the averange annual value of the winds travel 454.2 km.

GASTRONOMÍA.
En esta prevalece la trucha arcoíris ya que
esta es cultivada dentro del lago de tota, esta va preparada con diversas
salsas como el cliente lo disponga acompañada de papa a la francesa y
ensaladas de diversos tipos. También la mazamorra de dulce, acompañada de queso y arepa Boyacense.
GASTRONOMY
In this rainbow trout prevaild since it is cultivated within the lake of tota, it is prepared within the lake of tota, it is prepared with various sauces as the client arangest it acompanied by french potatoes and salads of various types. also the sweet porridge, acompanied by cheese and arepa boyacense.
AGRICULTURA E INGRESOS ECONÓMICOS.
predomina los cultivos de papa, cebolla junca, maíz, arveja entre otros. se cuida ganado normando, criollo, se trabaja la lana de oveja de la cual se elaboran tejidos como: ruanas, buzos, bufandas, guantes etc... elaborados en dos agujas o en telar. elaboración de fustes (base para las cillas de montar caballo).

Es un cuerpo de agua natural, situado en el departamento de Boyaca, en jurisdicción de los municipios de Cuitiva, Aquitania y Tota. con una superficie de 55 km2 y de profundidad aproximadamente 60 metros. Es el lago mas grande de Colombia.

muchos años atrás. Santo domingo, santa helena, y san pedro. En ella
encontramos diversas plantas y animales pequeños, se puede hacer recorrido
dentro de estas para una mejor apreciación.

El batán piscinas termales: estas piscinas son naturales ya que se encuentra un volcán ceca a esta zona y por dicha razón hace que el agua este caliente, piscinas, baño turco, servicio de restaurante y hospedaje.
